Ft. Clatsop District scouts recently attended Webelos Woods with Tuality District at Camp Meriwether. As often is the case, the weather wasn’t merry at Meriwether between wind, rain, thunder and lightning. In spite of that, everyone had a great time. Tuality District simply does an outstanding job at putting this together every year.
Troop 642 returned to teach the ax and knife safety station.
Webelos from Seaside’s Pack 540 and Warrenton’s Pack 509 also attended. They visited with troops from Tuality District. Along the way they learned a lot…and sampled tasty treats.
This is a “must do” event for Webelos who want to get out for a weekend of camping and work on some activity badges. If you are a Bear this year…start planning to attend Webelos Woods next October.
