Your help is needed at Winter Lodge

Three winter lodges on Mount Hood offer day and overnight unit activity dates during the winter season for units to take advantage of many snow activities including tubing near the warm lodges.

The winter lodges need summer repairs by adults with electrical and plumbing skills and other handyman abilities to repair rot damage, remodel bathrooms, and improve other areas of the lodges to make them more comfortable for everyone this winter. Can you help? Bonus…you’ll get early reservation access and reduced lodge fees!

Units are encouraged to take part in a service day at the lodge to help get the lodges ready for winter fun. Units that provide service are granted early access to the reservation system, and enjoy a discounted winter lodge fee. Please visit www.cpcbsa.org/winterlodgefor full details.

Upcoming service date are:
September 15 – Traditional Wood Cut date 8am-4pm at all three lodges, limit of about 100 persons to move wood into place for winter. Sign in at the lodge you wish to use this winter (at Nanitch if using Phlox)
October 13 – Traditional Clean-Up day at Aubrey lodge for Cub Scout packs, minimum 2 adults per pack Please NO Cub Scouts or children under the age of 13 (or adults may participate in one of the summer service dates listed above)
