New Amateur Radio Operator Rating Strip…for youth and adults

New Patch!
The BSA has just introduced the Amateur Radio Operator Rating Strip for wear on youth and adult uniforms. All registered youth members and adult leaders who also hold a valid amateur radio license, of any class, are eligible to wear the rating strip. It is Supply order number 617431. They are being manufactured now and expected in the warehouse in about two weeks. You can learn more at http://www.k2bsa.net/operator-rating/

This should prove to be an excellent motivator for youth to continue their studies toward the Technician License Exam after, or while, earning the Radio Merit Badge. You could also toss in the Morse Code Interpreter Strip for additional interest!
