Go Over the Edge and Rappel from the U.S. Bancorp Tower to Raise Money for Scouting

Welcome to Over the Edge 2013

It’s time for an exciting urban rappelling experience –
U.S. Bancorp Tower • September 13, 2013

Are you daring enough to rappel nearly 500 feet down the side of the U.S. Bancorp Tower? Enjoy a breathtaking view and experience a life-changing adrenaline rush, under the control of an industrial safety team.

Proceeds from the event assist the council’s mission of preparing more than 33,000 young people for a lifetime of adventure, learning, service and leadership.

BE AN EDGER!  This year’s event will be limited to the first 80 participants.  No rappelling experience is needed – just a brave spirit and desire to have fun. Each participant is required to raise a minimum of $2,500.

TOSS YOUR BOSS!  If rappelling 36 stories down the U.S. Bancorp Tower is not your thing, organize your coworkers and find a die-hard thrill seeking supervisor or other top executive in your company who will agree to go over the edge.

IT’S EASY!  Use this website to register and create your personal message and information to collect credit card donations and send out emails asking for support from friends and family.
Once you reach the $2,500 minimum fund-raising goal, you will be guaranteed a spot and we will contact you to secure a rappel time. Or you may elect to make up any difference with your credit card if you are unable to raise the $2,500 minimum. In the event that you do not reach the pledge minimum you will not be assigned a rappel time and donations made towards your rappel will support the event in general and will be non-refundable.

* be at least 18 years of age and weigh between 100 and 300 pounds.
* raise a minimum of $2,500 to support BSA.
* have all non-refundable pledges paid-in-full by August 28, 2013 to secure rappel time
