Council Camps Are Now Re-Opened

From Bo Henderson re: council camps:

Just this morning we have been informed by the United States Forest Service that we are allowed to resume operation at all of our facilities on leased Forest Service land until further notice.  This means all three winter lodges, Camp Pioneer, and a small part of Camp Baldwin are back open for use for all council, district and unit activities.  The confusion over the last few days has been unfortunate, however we are excited that we now are able to operate our facilities as normal.  Thank you to everyone for your patience as we worked our way through this situation.

Winter Lodge Clean Up Day this Saturday

Because we are now able to use our lodges again, the Winter Lodge Clean Up Day will continue this Saturday as planned.  Clean Up will be happening at both Aubrey Watzek and Nanitch.  We currently have all the volunteers we need this weekend for Aubrey.  If your unit is still interested in receiving service day discounts for using the lodge, and/or interested in gaining early access to the reservation system if your unit is a Cub Scout Pack, you can still sign up to volunteer at the cleanup at Nanitch regardless of which lodge your unit plans on using for the winter.   For more information about the Winter Lodge Clean Up Day or for the Winter Lodge program in general, please visit www.cpcbsa.org/winterlodge.
